Tutorial: a big pin for our scarves

A big pin can be also used as a brooche to pin a fabric scarf or a foulard...

What do you think about this idea? Isn't it cute?

If so, please, follow me and I'll show you how to make it!!!!!
First of all, find in your kitchen a round rubber for 6 cups moka and a bamboo spit.

Use your favorite wool...

Using the hot gun, glue the wool yarn and start to recover the spit rolling the yarn up on it and gluing it sometimes...

When the spit has been recovered, complete the extremities using something right to do this. I used two accessories for bijoux...

This is the pin ended.

Now, let's make the central part of the big pin, using the moka rubber and a crochet hook...

Using the crochet hook, start to cover the rubber...

After covering all the rubber, go on crocheting again using treble crochet (double crochet)...

Here there are the two pieces of the big pin.

To use it, we have simply to slip the covered spit into the stitches, and made it coming out from the opposite side.

To have a fabulous pin, decorate it using your great fantasy: for this one, I used plastic buttons and metallic parts...
